Unscrew the cap

Twist the gunmetal cap anticlockwise and set it aside.

Remove the stopper

Pull out the inner plug that keeps the oil sealed in transit.

Replace the cap

Screw the cap back on. The opening on top holds the reeds upright.

Insert the reeds

Slide the fibre reeds through the cap and let them draw up the oil.

Flip the reeds

Turn them over so the soaked ends face up. Flip again whenever the scent softens.
